Recorded entirely in hotel rooms during Faith No More's extensive touring schedule, the vocalist constructed a deeply avant-garde, completely a cappella project. Using only a four-track recorder and his remarkably versatile voice, Patton creates dense, abrasive collages of screams, whispers, and erratic mouth sounds. The intensely disturbing and abstract release marked his first official solo foray into pure, uncompromised sonic experimentation.
