Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded across four concerts at the Karaiskaki and Panathinaikos stadiums in August 1975, before some 125,000 people in the first summer after the junta's fall, this live album carries seven movements of Theodorakis's Neruda oratorio. Maria Farantouri and Petros Pandis sing the solo parts, with Manos Katrakis narrating and the Percussions de Strasbourg and French National Choir in the forces.
