Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length from Alexander Brettin's musical project offers a hazy, jazz-inflected reimagining of classic 1970s soft rock. 'Timeline' utilizes woozy analog synthesizers, warbling tape effects, and intricate, jazzy chord progressions to build a uniquely lethargic, sun-drenched atmosphere. This quirky, lo-fi approach to pop songwriting became highly influential within the burgeoning internet-driven indie music scene of the mid-2010s.
