So the Flies Don't Come

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'So the Flies Don't Come' unites Milo’s dense, philosophical, and often esoteric lyricism with producer Kenny Segal’s cohesive, jazz-inflected soundscape. Milo's delivery blurs the line between rap and spoken word, exploring themes of race, philosophy, and creative struggle with a mix of wit and urgency. Segal's production departs from traditional boom bap, favoring abstract, melodic, and often minimal arrangements that provide a contemplative backdrop for the album's intricate wordplay.
