Album Notes & Community Reviews

Widely recognized as a masterpiece of the Polish 'Yass' movement, 'Taniec Smoka' (Dragon's Dance) captures a wildly inventive fusion of free jazz, contemporary post-bop, and traditional Eastern European folk melodies. The quintet's staggering improvisational ability and chaotic energy deeply revitalized the avant-garde jazz scene in post-communist Poland.
