Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping outside his famous Modern Jazz Quartet role, the vibraphonist stretches out in a looser, highly blues-oriented blowing session on 'Jackson's Ville'. The ringing, metallic sustain of his mallets provides a sophisticated shimmer to the deeply entrenched, hard-swinging grooves.
