Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drummer Milton Banana, largely credited with defining the bossa nova rhythmic pattern, steps out with his own trio to explore a more aggressive instrumental approach. The record pivots toward energetic samba-jazz, characterized by fluid piano improvisations and complex, highly active percussion structures.
