Album Notes & Community Reviews
Operating out of Brussels, the Israeli expatriate group crafted a stark, rhythmically dense record produced by Wire's Colin Newman. The album blends Middle Eastern musical phrasing with cold, mechanical post-punk, emphasizing driving basslines and Malka Spigel's hypnotic vocals. Its fusion of European darkwave aesthetics with distinctly non-Western melodic elements made it a standout release on the legendary Crammed Discs imprint.
