Album Notes & Community Reviews
Operating out of Brussels, the Israeli expatriate band continued to fuse angular new wave rhythms with Middle Eastern melodic sensibilities. 'The Figure One Cuts' is steeped in a dark, atmospheric tension, propelled by brooding basslines and hypnotic vocal deliveries. The release underscores the group's unique position in bridging the European post-punk diaspora with global traditional influences.
