Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning sharply away from synth-pop, Ministry collaborated with Adrian Sherwood to forge a highly mechanized, sample-heavy electro-industrial sound. 'Twitch' relies on oppressive drum machine programming and incredibly tense, repetitive synthesizer loops to build a dark, cold, and claustrophobic atmosphere. The record is a crucial, rhythmically aggressive stepping stone toward their eventual industrial metal dominance.
