Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mink DeVille's 'Le chat bleu' expanded Willy DeVille's streetwise rock persona with Brill Building songwriting influences and European romanticism. The album's polished arrangements and soulful vocal focus helped distinguish the band from its CBGB-era punk associations.
