Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring an elite quartet including John Surman and John Taylor, this contemplative recording highlights Vitous's highly lyrical approach to the double bass. The spacious, impressionistic compositions perfectly align with the distinct European acoustic aesthetic heavily cultivated by Manfred Eicher's production.
