Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his pivotal early role in Weather Report, the virtuoso bassist dives headfirst into funk-drenched, heavily electronic jazz-rock. Featuring Herbie Hancock and an array of synthesizers, the project frequently utilizes an envelope filter on the bass to create deeply rhythmic, squelchy grooves that break drastically from traditional jazz norms.
