Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning to ECM Records after a significant hiatus, the acclaimed bassist leads an absolute all-star quintet featuring Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Jan Garbarek, and Jack DeJohnette. The entirely acoustic record is a masterclass in highly passionate, deeply communicative modern jazz improvisation, retaining a wonderfully peaceful, atmospheric presence.
