Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Worried Blues' belongs to Mississippi John Hurt's rediscovery period, when folk revival audiences embraced his quiet fingerpicking style and older song repertoire. The recordings helped preserve a gentler strand of country blues distinct from the harsher Delta idiom often foregrounded in blues histories.
