Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by high-octane rhythms and a relentless brass section, 'Sock It to Me!' captures the frenetic energy of the Motor City's premier blue-eyed soul act. The record blends driving rock and roll with R&B showmanship, reflecting the intense live performances the group was known for. It stands as a prime example of the gritty, unpolished sound that bridged early garage rock with traditional soul music.
