Album Notes & Community Reviews
Arranger and multi-instrumentalist Moacir Santos bridges Afro-Brazilian rhythms with large-ensemble jazz orchestration on his debut. The ten numbered compositions feature complex horn charts and shifting, syncopated percussion that significantly influenced the harmonic development of MPB.
