Album Notes & Community Reviews
The sixth Mobb Deep album and their only one for the label, released via the duo's own Infamous imprint, 'Amerikaz Nightmare' paired Havoc's production with beats from The Alchemist, Kanye West, Lil Jon and Red Spyda, with guests including Jadakiss, Nate Dogg and Twista. It debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 with 109,000 first-week copies. Lead single 'Got It Twisted', produced by The Alchemist around a sample of Thomas Dolby's 'She Blinded Me with Science', reached number 64 on the Hot 100, and both its video and the follow-up 'Real Gangstaz' were directed by Benny Boom.
