Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reacting against the pressure of massive commercial success and high-profile collaborations, the veteran producer retreated to his home studio to record this deeply melancholic, introspective album. Shunning the high-energy club anthems of his previous releases, the tracks rely on sparse piano arrangements, soaring ambient strings, and hushed, unknown guest vocalists. It is heavily inspired by David Lynch's philosophy regarding the beauty of dark, quiet spaces.
