Album Notes & Community Reviews

Modest Mouse self-releases 'An Eraser and a Maze' through Glacial Pace, marking their first fully independent release since 1997. Conceived initially by Isaac Brock as an EP for his side project Ugly Casanova, the sprawling final record features a guest performance from former Sleater-Kinney drummer Janet Weiss on the lead single 'Look How Far...', returning the band to their eccentric, anxious indie rock roots.
