Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary Velvet Underground drummer enlisted an impressive cast of alternative rock luminaries, including former bandmates Lou Reed and John Cale, as well as members of Sonic Youth and Violent Femmes. 'I Spent a Week There the Other Night' is a charmingly ragged, idiosyncratic collection of garage rock and indie folk that highlights Tucker's enduringly pure rock and roll spirit.
