Album Notes & Community Reviews

Uniting three titans of the German experimental scene鈥擠ieter Moebius of Cluster, Guru Guru drummer Mani Neumeier, and legendary producer Conny Plank鈥攖his session is a masterpiece of proto-techno rhythm. 'Zero Set' brilliantly fuses intensely driving, organic drum performances with heavily sequenced, wildly erratic analog synthesizer loops and dub-inflected studio manipulation. The frantic, hyper-kinetic album essentially laid the precise mechanical blueprint for the impending acid house and trance movements.
