Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely by Cluster co-founder Dieter Moebius, this remarkably playful solo effort acts as a crucial bridge between Krautrock sequencing and minimalist synthpop. 'Tonspuren' consists of short, highly rhythmic instrumental vignettes driven by bubbling analog synthesizers and primitive drum machine loops. The deeply quirky, repetitive album highlights his distinct ability to extract warmth and humor from rigid electronic instrumentation.
