Comprised of electronic producers Joe Andrews and Tom Halstead (from the duo Raime) alongside visionary percussionist Valentina Magaletti, this debut is a tense, claustrophobic masterclass in rhythmic rock. The instrumental album utilizes heavily repetitive, angular post-hardcore guitar riffs anchored by Magaletti's spectacularly complex, krautrock-inflected drum grooves. It creates a terrifyingly tight, anxious atmosphere heavily utilizing fragmented spoken-word vocal samples.
