Album Notes & Community Reviews
A soundtrack to her theatrical stage play of the same name, 'Circuit City' finds Moor Mother utilizing a live free-jazz ensemble to score her intense, socio-political spoken word poetry. The result is a dense, abstract hip-hop and avant-garde jazz hybrid focused on the housing crisis and systemic oppression.
