Album Notes & Community Reviews

Australian country artist Morgan Evans' sophomore album, 'Steel Town', is a heartfelt return to his roots in Newcastle, NSW. The record is a buoyant and sonically rich collection that reflects on his journey, blending celebratory anthems with more grounded, introspective storytelling. Moving away from pure global pop gloss, Evans recalibrates his sound to focus on lived experience and the resilience of his hometown, creating a narrative of fracture and repair with a renewed sense of creative freedom.
