Album Notes & Community Reviews

Composed late in Feldman's career and capturing his signature durational scale, this monumental chamber piece is performed softly by a trio of flute, percussion, and piano/celesta. The composition's extremely quiet dynamics, slowly shifting tonal clusters, and nearly imperceptible structural variations induce a deeply hypnotic, trance-like state in the listener.
