Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally issued independently in 2005 before being remixed and relaunched by Last Gang, 'Touch Up' serves as the debut full-length from Vancouver's Mother Mother. The project introduces the band's distinctive vocal harmonies and eccentric lyrical themes, setting a foundation for their quirky indie rock aesthetic. The recording captures an acoustic-driven urgency that contrasts with the darker, slightly cryptic undertones of the songwriting.
