Album Notes & Community Reviews
Returning after a decade-long hiatus, James Grigsby reassembled the avant-prog ensemble to record 'City of Mirrors'. The complex album relies on incredibly dense, chamber-like instrumentation, fiercely colliding tightly scripted classical and progressive rock arrangements with chaotic bursts of free jazz improvisation.
