Following the conclusion of their incredibly ambitious 'Gullvåg Trilogy', the endlessly prolific Norwegian veterans returned with a noticeably heavier, riff-oriented project. Leaning deeply into 1970s hard rock and sprawling stoner-psych jams, the record balances colossal, fuzzed-out guitar grooves with delicate, acoustic progressive-folk interludes. It continues to cement their legacy as one of the most consistently excellent acts in modern psychedelic rock.
