Album Notes & Community Reviews
Formed by Jesse F. Keeler following the dissolution of Death From Above 1979, the Canadian electronic duo MSTRKRFT debuted with the heavily distorted 'The Looks'. The highly aggressive, club-oriented album helped define the mid-2000s blog house movement, utilizing extremely compressed, heavily filtered basslines and relentless, pounding drum machines.
