Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the immediate follow-up to his highly controversial 'Electric Mud', this session dialed back the extreme psychedelic studio manipulation while retaining a notably heavy, overdriven guitar tone. Backed once again by a fiery ensemble of younger musicians, the blues patriarch successfully bridged his classic Chicago style with contemporary rock sensibilities in a more balanced, organic manner.
