Album Notes & Community Reviews

Constructed as a tribute to his mentor Big Bill Broonzy, the electrified Chicago blues pioneer scales back his usual heavy amplification. Accompanied largely by James Cotton's harmonica and Otis Spann's acoustic guitar, the respectful session pays direct homage to his rural, acoustic Delta roots.
