Album Notes & Community Reviews

As the mainstream grunge explosion began to fracture, the Seattle pioneers defiantly returned to their scuzzy, hyper-distorted garage-punk roots. Mark Arm's deeply sarcastic, wildly cynical vocals perfectly match the remarkably raw, fuzz-drenched guitar attack that famously avoids commercial alternative polish. The aggressively unrefined, highly energetic recording firmly proved their unwavering commitment to underground punk ethics during a highly corporatized era.
