Album Notes & Community Reviews

Making their major-label debut at the absolute height of the Seattle alternative boom, the grunge pioneers stubbornly refused to polish their chaotic, fuzz-drenched sound. The resulting album maintains the band's sarcastic, sloppy garage-punk ethos, famously featuring tracks where they essentially gave up halfway through recording to highlight their slacker apathy.
