Album Notes & Community Reviews
Reflecting the rapid stylistic shifts of the German underground, the progressive jazz-rock ensemble Munju adopted a more aggressive, streamlined sound for 'Brot + Spiele'. The album incorporates the jerky rhythms and angular energy of the emerging new wave while retaining their exceptional improvisational chops. It was released through Schneeball, the famed musician-run independent label.
