Album Notes & Community Reviews
Musicanova's music for the 1980 RAI television drama 'L'eredit脿 della priora', adapted from Carlo Alianello's novel of post-unification brigandage in Basilicata, was arranged by Eugenio Bennato and produced by Vincenzo Punzi. The title song, issued as a single with 'Quanno sona la campana', and 'Vulesse addeventare nu brigante' became anthems of the Southern Italian folk revival and brought national recognition to the group Bennato and Carlo D'Angi貌 had formed after leaving Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare.
