Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his debut, 'Outcry' delivers eleven pieces on colonialism, slavery, sexism and violence, among them 'Remembrance', an attack on centuries of institutionalised oppression, and 'Saga of Too Kool', a tale of dancehall violence. 'Canaan Lan'' addresses the continuing conflict in the Middle East. The title poem had first become a Jamaican hit in 1978, recorded with Cedric Brooks' Light of Saba.
