Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded largely in Los Angeles following a brief hiatus, 'Anamorphos茅e' marks a definitive stylistic shift for the French pop icon Myl猫ne Farmer. The album sheds much of her early gothic-synthpop gloom in favor of noticeably brighter, American-influenced rock instrumentation and subtle downtempo R&B rhythms. It became a massive commercial triumph, effectively reinventing her image for a new decade.
