Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the tragic passing of John Balance, Current 93's David Tibet formed this deeply personal project as a profound, hallucinatory eulogy for his longtime friend and collaborator. The album is incredibly sparse, featuring Tibet's wildly emotional, heavily poetic spoken-word deliveries accompanied only by fragile, looping acoustic guitar phrases provided by James Blackshaw. It is a devastating, esoteric exploration of grief, mysticism, and enduring loss.
