Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Endlessness', composer and multi-instrumentalist Nala Sinephro expands upon the cosmic, spiritual jazz of her debut by exploring the cyclical nature of existence through ten distinct but interconnected movements. The album blends her signature harp and modular synthesizer arpeggios with lush string orchestrations and contributions from notable jazz contemporaries, creating a soundscape that balances meditative ambience with moments of tension and improvisational freedom. Through her production, Sinephro contrasts the warmth of acoustic instruments like piano, saxophone, and flugelhorn against the precise, sometimes abrasive textures of electronics, resulting in a sophisticated and immersive electro-acoustic suite.
