Album Notes & Community Reviews
Napalm Death pushed musical extremity to an absolute breaking point, effectively inventing grindcore in the process. Clocking in at barely over thirty minutes, 'Scum' is a chaotic, hyper-fast blur of blast beats, unintelligible growls, and fierce anarcho-punk politics that completely obliterated traditional song structures. It is a raw, manic manifesto that forever altered the landscape of underground punk and metal.
