Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as the fourth release from Kanye West's prolific five-week 'Wyoming Sessions,' the legendary Queensbridge MC's eleventh studio album is a brief, heavily scrutinized effort. West provides incredibly lush, sample-heavy production over which Nas attempts to grapple with systemic racism, black empowerment, and controversial modern politics. The highly divisive project sparked intense debate regarding its rushed execution and occasionally questionable lyrical statements.
