Album Notes & Community Reviews
Nas' 'The Lost Tapes' compiles tracks recorded between 1998 and 2001 for 'I Am...' and 'Stillmatic' that were shelved or leaked before release. Heard together, the boom bap and jazz rap productions frame some of his most introspective writing, and the collection is widely treated as a lost album rather than an outtakes set.
