A mis amigos

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely in Rio de Janeiro during a highly successful South American tour, the legendary vocalist utilizes local musicians to expand upon his incredibly popular Spanish-language catalog. 'A mis amigos' features lush, heavily romantic orchestrations paired with driving, authentic mambo and samba rhythms. Despite singing phonetically, the artist's famously rich, velvety timbre completely transcends the language barrier to create a deeply charming, sophisticated international crossover record.
