Marking the second collaboration between Natural Information Society and the trio Bitchin Bajas, 'Totality' expands on their shared interest in meditative and hypnotic soundscapes. The four-track album, recorded in a single session, balances expansive, ambient jazz explorations with the rhythmic, guimbri-driven trance that defines Joshua Abrams' compositional approach. Ensemble interplay between traditional instruments like the harmonium and bass clarinet and the synthesizers of Bitchin Bajas creates a suite of atmospheric compositions rooted in communal improvisation and deep listening.
