Aldebaran

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Aldebaran' is a sprawling drone and ambient work built from long-form improvisations of layered guitars, loops, and sparse, haunting vocals. The album's home-recorded, lo-fi production quality contributes to its raw and immediate feel, capturing the sound of a live, unedited performance across its nearly six-hour runtime. Its thematic content is equally vast, drawing on cosmic horror, literature, and esoteric philosophy, with song titles making direct references to celestial bodies and the literary universe of H.P. Lovecraft.
