Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing a prolific run of underground releases, the Brooklyn rapper and skateboarder further refines his deeply meditative, soul-bearing style. Largely self-produced under his alias Sage Elsesser, the record heavily utilizes gorgeous, drumless jazz and soul loops to frame his intricate, highly personal storytelling regarding family, spirituality, and healing. It stands as a profound, remarkably peaceful entry in the modern abstract hip-hop renaissance.
