Album Notes & Community Reviews

'In My Own Words' is the debut studio album of American singer-songwriter Ne-Yo, recorded after a successful period writing hits for other artists. The production heavily features the Norwegian duo Stargate, crafting a sleek, pop-soul framework for his smooth vocals. It was a massive commercial success that established him as a leading figure in modern contemporary R&B.
