Album Notes & Community Reviews
On his third studio album, 'Return to Zero,' Neal Francis delivers a lush, groove-heavy odyssey that seamlessly blends '70s rock, funk, and disco into a sound that feels both timeless and immediate. The Chicago-based singer-songwriter emphasizes funk and soul elements, creating an infectious, danceable atmosphere with a cleaner production style that highlights his keyboard playing and smooth vocals. Recorded live in the studio with his band, the album captures an organic, analog energy that pays homage to his influences while confidently pushing his sound forward.
